ACTIVITIES & WORKSHOPS
When you stimulate your physical self you have opportunity to move more deeply in your mental, emotional and spiritual self. Whether you are an active mover or just starting to get your body in motion the sessions and activities included in your retreat are mindful and accessible.
Each day of your retreat will be full of different, creative movement opportunitites that will facilitate your exploration in themes of body, mind and spirit connection.
Ultimately, this is your retreat. Everything we have planned for you is optional. There will be ample time for personal, quiet, self-reflection. This will be a vital part of connecting and embodying all you find at this retreat. As you choose what to be a part of we encourage you choose with openness; open to challenge yourself into new beliefs about what you are capable of and comfortable with. This is a time to try new things, or refine your current movement practices, with support and guidance.
MOVEMENT SESSIONS / ACTIVITY THEMES included in the cost of your retreat

Yoga - Your insightful and experienced instructors will provide fun, creative classes in a variety of methods suited for beginners as well as experienced practioners.

GYROKINESIS® exercises - This is a unique practice that we will introduce and explore througout the week in morning movement sessions with "Awakening of the Senses" and an afternoon workshop explaining the deep, structural connections found through subtle, intellegent movement.

Hiking - There is first-class hiking all around the retreat center with trails starting right at the campus. The Sangre de Cristos are home to five 14ers, which are easily accessible from the campus.

Swimming - After your hike take an invigorating dip in the creek running through the retreat property.

Relaxation! - This will be a vital part of your retreat. You must have time for personal reflection and relaxation to fully rejuvinate and embody all that you are learning, sharing, processing and receiving.
WORKSHOPS

How Movement Affects Your Emotional and Spiritual Self - This workshop will be explored throughout the retreat as we move through layers and elements of these connections.

Maintaining a Healthy Lifestyle - You will experience self nourishment on many levels throughout the week. This workshop is designed to give you a few tools and ideas to help you shift habits and rhythm once you leave the retreat.

Breath and Meditation - This workshop will also be explored throughout the retreat as we move through various layers and elements of how to understand and use breath and meditation in every day movements, activities and practices.

Expressive dance and creative movement with music - This will be your time to play!

GYROKINESIS® Essentials - You will explore the deeper subtleties of GYROKIENSIS® movement, breathing and connecting.

Massage - $90 options: Swedish, deep tissue, precission nueromuscular (PNMT), salt scrub and clay body wrap - all with aromatherapy. 1hr appointments available, mix and match to your preferences. Please schedule prior to the retreat to assure your time slot.
